My occupational identity is comprised of her roles in her family as a granddaughter, niece, and cousin. She identifies as a sister, as someone who grew up on a family farm she returns to every summer, as a netball player and sportsperson, as a Dunedin student, as a flatmate, as a woolhandler during the summer, as an explorer within New Zealand, as a member of her school tramping club, and as an amateur skier.

2. One aspect of my occupational identity is made up from
my role in my wider family-as a granddaughter, niece and
cousin

3. These pictures show a different role within the family unit-as a
sister.

4. The family farm makes up part of my identity as it is where I grew up and return to every
summer.

5. Netball has been a large part of my life and being a ‘netballer’ and ‘sportsperson’ is one of the ways I am identified

6. Dunedin Student; this is one of the most influencing factors on my life as it what I am currently spending my time on.

7. Being a flatmate is a key part of my identity as it is really like my second home

8. Working as a woolhandler is a part of my identity as it my main occupation over the summer and holiday months.

9. Explorer- although I have not travelled extensively overseas (yet), I have seen many places in New Zealand and feel that this is a
part of who I am

10. Being a member of the Tramping Club during school shaped my ‘school identity’ and is an occupation I continue with today.

11. As a (Very) amateur skier; this activity has allowed me to make great friends and
to learn about myself
