It allows you to share things about your life and activities you are involved in. It’s useful because you can see what everyone is doing without having to be there with them. Google is very helpful if I want to look up something but don’t know the website. It’s useful for homework or looking up song titles if I only know a few of the lyrics.
4. www.youtube.com http://www.freetranslation.com/ YouTube is a fun website that allows you to look up videos of any kind. Most of the time I use it for music videos but they have many videos of just about anything. Ranging from how to do your hair/make up to wrestling videos or comedy. Free Translation helps me translate French to English and vice versa. Since I’m in a French class I find this very useful! If I forget what a word means in French and I’m at home without notes I can go on here and check it out.
5. http://www.cwtv.com http://www.cwtv.com The CW allows me to watch my favorite shows and episodes online. If I missed an episode I can watch it here. This way I’ll never be lost when a new show comes on the next week and I missed the last one. Every show on the CW is able to be reached on here
6. Five things I can do to practice good digital citizenship: 1. I will keep using the internet to help me with school work and connect me to others. 2. I will start using Ning and Slideshare more often to be more educated in how it works and can show others how to. 3. I will use the internet so I can find out about global events so I can be a part of globalization. 4. I will keep respecting others and myself online so that others may do so as well. Digital Citizenship: To me, digital citizenship is understanding how to use technology. Today there are many forms of technology and not everyone knows how to use it properly or sometimes they don’t know it at all.
