Cross Cultural Communication
Cross cultural communication
Bearing that we all come from varying cultures and cultural backgrounds do dictate a lot the type of reactions we receive from the pubic as well as the way we react to other people around us, there is need to use our communication tools as an access tool to the people of the different culture. Being a Chinese who has lived in the USA for 4 years, I have come to realize that the use of communication accommodation has been one of the best tools to overcome the barriers that can be between me and the majority of the cultures around me.
In a society that is multicultural in composition, it is most significant that people from the varying cultures strive to embrace each other for a harmonious coexistence. In order for this to take place, one of the central pivots is the cross cultural communication. For this to take place, there is need for what is known as communication accommodation theory to be applied and used appropriately.
This is the approach that has made my stay in the USA bearable despite the varying religious, cultural, race, nationality among other central tenets of existence. According to Howard G., (2013) there is tendency for the people who seek the approval of others whom they come across in an intercultural encounter to adjust their speech styles as well as the content of their speech in order to rhyme or mesh up with the others. This is a thing that I have had to do several times in order to fit into the various groups that I

The Concept Of Knowledge Management
Introduction
The concept of knowledge management (KM) was introduced early in 1990s, which include business administration, public policy, information systems management, library and information sciences. Knowledge Management became popular in the 1995 with the publication of The Knowledge Creating Company written by Nonaka and Takeuchi.
KM is the base for evidence informed decision making, because it requires organizations and/or individuals to create, access, exchange and translate knowledge to be applied to a specific policy or program challenge. KM encourages innovation and when an individual and a social system accept an effective idea or new practice, successful dispersal of an innovation occurs.
In general, knowledge can be divided into two categories: Explicit knowledge and Tacit knowledge. Explicit knowledge can be directed in words and can be distributed through written documents, manuals, or database. Tacit knowledge is the knowledge existed in our minds, which is hard to express and could be shared via discussion, stories, observation, and personal interaction. KM supports the transferring and storage of both Tacit knowledge and Explicit knowledge.
The interest in KM also increased in fields outside of business, especially in the health care, where health specialists start to look at the possibilities to embed KM concepts in their own practices and institutions. Developments in business processes, better communication with other departments or with

What Is Rosa Parks Essay
Rosa Parks once said, Each person must live their life as a model for others. On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks was a model for everyone. She is an important figure in American History, she showed everyone that she cares that the world is like this and that she would not be afraid to stand up for her rights. One day when Rosa Parks came back home from work on the Cleveland Avenue bus, she sat on the bus but she sat in the whites section, so Fred Blake, the bus driver, asked her and three other people to get up and go somewhere else, everyone got up except for Mrs.Parks so she was arrested and fined ten dollars plus four dollars in court.

We are not going to give them our dimes to be insulted and humiliated, said Martin Luther King Jr, a leader of the Montgomery Improvement Association. (San Antonio Register, Vol. 25, No. 45) Rosa Parks was well known, so when Martin Luther King Jr heard that Mrs. Parks went to jail he called for a meeting at his church, they were talking about how they wanted things to change but everyone was scared. Everyone gave up except for Dr. King, he thought they could do a boycott, so they will refuse to ride the busses until something will change.
The boycott has cut Negro patronage of city buses about 85 per cent and Negro leaders said it will continue until bus of the boycott. (San Antonio Register, Vol. 25, No. 44) White people barely rode on buses because if you re white then that means you are rich at that time, so the b

Stargirl Monologue
I don t agree with Leo s choice because he only just made the problem even more difficult for Stargirl and himself. During the shunning and after his visit with Archie there were times where Leo would avoid Stargirl and also he wishes that they could be more like them or they could be more like Stargirl. He doesn t really do anything to fix the shunning. The only thing he did was change Stargirl into Susan, but it seems like it was more for Leo not for Stargirl. He seem to love Susan more than Stargirl because she finally more like them. Like the rest of Mika students.

I grew up in Joliet, Illinois with the loving support I always received from my parents and family. My father was born in Michoacán, Mexico. As parents, you want the absolute best for your children, my grandparents made the decision to move to the United States to give their children and themselves a better future. My mother was born here in the United States. In addition, they always wanted to give us everything they never had. My biggest goal in life is to be successful and genuinely happy with my life. The feeling of being wanted by a college has been the highlight to my senior year because it motivates me to work harder in everything I do. Jury Duty Essay
Serving on a jury is a civic duty and an American tradition. However, some people view jury duty as a chore or as an event that negatively interrupts their lives. Some independent studies have shown that even jury duty has a devastating effect on married life. Due to this and other extraneous situations, there are only a few people who actually want to serve on a jury. This may lead to efforts by potential jurors to, in some way get out of their duty in a jury. What we know of as the current jury duty system should be changed so citizens are not forced to serve in this capacity and can still be regarded as a responsible civilian. As per the status quo, a trial jury is a constitutional right, a jury of ones peers or equals. Today, jurors sometimes leave courtrooms in tears after convicting people they believed were morally (if not legally) innocent, or after witnessing the harsh sentences handed down by judges at the sentencing phase of seemingly minor cases. That is exactly the sort of travesty trial by jury was intended to prevent. If the law were just and justly applied, jurors would have no reason to regret their verdicts, or the sentences that are meted out later by judges. (Trial by Jury Website) This would seemingly enco

Journalism Bias
The Effects of Journalism Bias in America
A quarter of all young adults in America are cannibals. While this statement is true, it is wildy misleading. The undoctored statistic is roughly 25% of young adults in America bite their nails. It is technically not incorrect to depict nail biters as cannibals, but this type of misleading manipulation completely changes the meaning of the data. Rephrasing polls or surveys while retaining the same data is just one of the many ways journalists use deception to mold the news into their desired bias. An increase in journalism bias has coincided with the political polarization of America, and the links between the two are frequent. With media as most Americans only way to stay educated on our nation s issues, any flaws in reporting will have proliferating effects on the millions of Americans watching. Since the dawn of media journalism, a bias has existed. Due to shifts within the networks and liberal leaning education, this bias has grown into an uncontrollable beast that contributes to the harsh political polarization of America. The creation and prosperity of a widespread journalism bias is becoming more prevalent, resulting in an extremely partisan public and without addressing the change, it will soon become a dilemma with no foreseeable method to reverse or correct the damage.
Background
The media has been used over the past 60 years by writers, producers, actors, and executives to promote their ideology and mold Americans into

Consequences Of The Haitian Revolution
Circumstances in society that made the Haitian revolution inevitable by 1791
Slavery changed society outlook in life, it also created many memories which would be rather forgotten. Many countries were turned into colonies and were made victims of slavery. One country that had one of the biggest impacts on the abolishment of slavery was Haiti. Many historians have considered Haiti and their actions against slavery to be a great milestone in its abolition. The Revolution was not know for it uniqueness but the most successful of the rebellions that took place in history. Mental Health Essay
In a nationwide survey gauging the attitude of college administration on the growing mental health issues among students, one dean shared Students bring more and more nonacademic issues to campus ... we are becoming a secondary social service agency (Levine Cureton, 1998). This was not an isolated phenomenon, but rather a troubling position shared across the nation. College presidents and deans fail to recognize the growing need for increased mental health services and academic support. Disability and counseling services are frequently on the cutting block when funding is questioned leaving 20% of children and 18.1% of young adult students suddenly losing the resources they need to thrive in an academic environment (NAMI, 2016)....show more content...Like all students, those with mental illnesses express the same desire to work and learn as anyone else (Boyle, et al., 2011). They have the same aspirations and expectations of the academic system; that it will teach them what they need to know for higher education or to have a job. Whether or not they think these opportunities are achievable is questionable. The quality of mental health counseling and services on a college campus is positively correlated with the ability of the students utilizing said services to complete their degree and advance into a career (Trela, 2008). In other words, students with mental illnesses that receive no psychological support perform poorer in school compared to the same student body that does receive support. The support provides students with a team of people hoping for their success which improves feelings of self worth and confidence. Qualitative studies show that an incomplete

Reflective Essay on Teaching
This assignment will critically reflect and analyse a microteaching session I presented to my peers in a clinical placement regarding Nursing management of chest drains. I will define reflection; teaching, learning and the rationale for choosing this topic will be clearly outlined in this paper. The preparation, planning, implementation and evaluation will also be incorporated. This assignment will be structured using Gibbs (1988) reflective model cited in Modular Training Course, 2003 because of its simplicity. Analysis will permeate through each stage of the Gibbs reflective model. Finally I will conclude by reflecting on my role as a joint practitioner outlining areas of personal, professional growth, identifying my strength, weakness...show more content...I also used some equipment like different types of chest drains, water and a dame in of a person to demonstrate to my peers. I used psychomotor learning domain as it was described by Bloom (1956) cited by De Tornyay Thompson (1987) to be most important domain compared with Cognitive and Affective domains as it enabling the learner to learn through the demonstrated skill. As I encouraged my peers to carry out the skill that I had demonstrated, I had to bear in mind that many adult learners are self conscious about trying new psychomotor skills as contended by De Tornyay Thompson (1987). They worry about looking foolish and making errors. And therefore it is crucial that the learning environment is warm and accepting, inviting the learners to try things, take risks and experiment.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

That is exactly the sort of travesty trial by jury was intended to prevent.

1. My Characteristics Of Myself
"Normality is a paved road. It's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it." – Van Gogh
Multiple characteristics of myself that have throughout my life have shaped me into the person that I am today. One of them is my intelligence
which, while not on some ridiculously high level, is something that I have grown to value as I considered myself a person of great perception, being a
young man who appreciates logic and mathematical thinking, possesses a desire to look for the hidden truth behind webs of contradictions
/inconsistencies, love analyzing details and piecing together information, as well as using creativity to solve problems and puzzles. Another trait of
mine that is the main focus of this essay is none other my eccentricity, which may be correlated to my intelligence.
I'm what some have labeled me as a "weirdo", which I've learned has both positive and negative connotations, and usually the negative connotation
applied to me. I'm an introverted and quiet person who, although doesn't mind socializing a bit from time to time with people that I'm comfortable
with, prefers to be by himself and do his own thing. When I am interacting with others, which is not a usual thing, I come off as awkward and
uncomfortable. Even by my loneself I'm still perform eccentric habits and quirky movements. Always bottling up my complex emotions and deep
thoughts, I've faced hardships in expressing them to others in a way that can being understood. The only situation where I feel like I can truly express
myself to others is through texting, in other words not face–to–face (I'm a textrovert). In addition, I'm what I considered myself as a nefelibata, a term
most people don't know the meaning of: a cloud walker or one who lives in the cloud of their own imagination or dreams. My mind spend most of
its time wandering around in the land of . not abiding by the precepts of society. In fact, regardless of how I depict myself to others, anyone who
observe my actions can see the truth as plain as day; I'm nothing more than an unconventional, unorthodox person. Of course, not everyone would like
an outlandish person such as myself, and soon did I also dislike a part of myself.

2. Personal Essay : My Personal Qualities
My Personal Qualities
Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and qualities. One person does not just simply fall into
one category, but various categories. What is beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned that
we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.
As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my collage. I appreciate beautiful things and this is
why I got beauty/aesthetics as one of my highest totals on the values survey. On my collage, I put a picture of a microscope, with the circular flask and

I know and I have been told that I am a kind and sympathetic person, because I love to help people and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone
is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness" in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a
pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not
on the outside. I think people sometimes, even me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality.
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my
personality. However, the results from mylearning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic
and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning
style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can
be learned and strengthened.
I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I found out the little unique things that make up my
personality. From my personality survey, I am mostly artistic,

There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and
adapt etc. These personal characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more and more time as a
professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These
characteristics come out in many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What

This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them
to think out of the box to identify as issue and find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until I get
it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and fine–tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This
creativity has steadily driven my ambitions through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has changed in last few
decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become the need of the hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important
quality of all, particularly if one is in technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the nomenclature of day and night
but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times. Adaptability, personally, has created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to
spend time, living outside my country of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only diversified my work experience but also my
cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to diverse situations with increasing levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my
eagerness for new challenges. It has instigated a feeling in me that there

7. Our study had many conclusions congruent with the findings found in our review of literature, but a portion of our research explored areas that the
other studies did not. Self–efficacy was a factor studied in both Peterson (2009) and McLaughlin, et al., (2008) research studies. Although our research
did not report self–efficacy scales, it did look at attributes related to self–efficacy, shown in Table 7, such as leadership, stress coping, and adaptation to
change. These three factors each had a strong positive correlation with each other. However, similar to the findings of Peterson (2009), the data failed
to show a significant correlation or relation to academic success (Peterson, 2009, p. 413). Our study also analyzed introverted personality
characteristics compared to extraverted. Research has found lower scores associated with extraversion (McLaughlin et al., 2008, p. 218). In
comparison, our data was inconclusive and insufficient enough to gain a thorough understanding of someone's personality. Table 3 shows the majority

so without a doubt. Other personality questions asked got an evenly distributed answer response, therefore were not used for analyzing. Based on
previous studies, personality can be seen as an important characteristic; however our instrument lacked in validity to support this theory. Lancia (2013)

traits are not ideal in this, and over the past few years, I have taken to aggressively pursuing my goals, despite being pushed for time. I still do get

Our personalities differ as much as our DNA. Each one with many different traits that make us who we are. While my siblings did not make the
brightest choices, I have become wiser in the decisions I make to show who I truly am. My parents, also have helped me discover traits that were
in me all along. My personality consists of different traits that have helped me find my true self. By nature, I am shy. The decisions that my
siblings have made influenced my parents, making them stricter than most. I was usually put down when I went to ask if I could stay at my
cousins' house or if I could go to my aunts for the day. Since then I always stay home and read a book or an article about a weird subject. Shyness,
just like any other personality trait, has its pluses and minuses. The key is to harness what makes you more reserved and use it to your advantage. I
have grown since I have learned about my shyness being an issue in school and in the classroom. I have put myself into more activities, even though I
still feel the shyness in me. I have grown more into communicating with others through my years of high school to prepare for when I go to college. It

10. Characteristics Of Myself Essay
We, as human beings, have many characteristics and traits that we view of our self positively; however, some traits do change due to our insecurity of
other individual judgments which may lead to the outcome of others viewing us differently. This report will briefly explain the way I see myself
portray to the society and how other majority individuals see the individual I truly am.
The qualities I consider that I do not have for my personality is I am not creative, confident, compulsive, curious, humorous and selfish. This shows
that I am an individual who is selfless or inquisitive. Although, I am not confident nor am I compulsive or humorous this demonstrates I am
introverted from the society and would like to be hidden in the dark when it comes to presentations or meeting new strangers. I am not proud of this
since I realized I care way too much about what others have their opinions on me. If I were confident and cared less about what others thought about
me, I would have the traits as compulsive, confident, humorous and much more. In addition, this is one of the reasons why others think I am shy at
times due to my lack of confidence. Therefore, I do have to work on putting myself out there to the society which will slowly happen.
I believe that I am friendly, kind, reliable, hardworking, punctual, and ambitious. Ever since I was a child, my parents brought good manners and

A quote that I live by is, "People don't always behave the way you want them to, but it doesn't mean the way they behave is wrong." This says to me
that I cannot change anyone because I do not understand or like the way someone does something. Trying to do this is trying to change one's human
personality. Human personality is what makes a person distinctive, unique, and exceptional. Every person has a different personality and some
personalities mesh better than others. Human personality should always be praised and no one should ever put anyone down for having a different
personality. It is truly just allowing people to be who they are unless they are in violation of other human's rights. Just as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Examples of laws like this would be: wearing a seat belt, the possession of guns, the right to abortion, and the ability to buy alcohol on Sundays.
These types of laws are there because someone else says that it is wrong to do these things. Trying to prevent supposedly wrong things from
happening seems like good intent but is actually unjust. An example of this is seat belt laws that try to prevent anyone from getting seriously hurt in
the event of a car accident. But if the driver or their passengers do not want to buckle up why should the law force them. It may seem strange for
some people to not want to wear their seat belt but it is just because they have a different personality. The only just laws are the ones that punish those
that actually degrade someone's human personality. Rape, murder, robbery, and fraud are all examples of this. When someone rapes another they are
taking away their free will to do whatever they choose. And those who commit that crime should be punished. But to create laws to prevent rapes from
occurring is unjust. These types of laws assume that people will do wrong and that their human personality is wrong. People have the right to do
whatever they please whether it is moral or not and they deserve the consequences of their actions. In conclusion, human personality is the essential
character of a human being. It is not clear what uplifts and what degrades human personality because it is human nature to

personal characteristics that I possess. The essay will present how adaptive, cautious, committed, cooperative, dependable, and well organized among
other factors that I am.
I start all my days by taking a shower for about 20 minutes after I wake up at 10 am. After I had showered and dressed, I open my computer to check
for my day schedules to identify the assignments that ought to be turned in. While checking the daily routine and class assignments, I make a list on
notecard of the assignments that I need to turn in and other important events on my calendar. On April 26, I had a quiz and presentation to prepare. In
my diary, I note that I also have a quiz of human resource management class on 28th April, and I need to be prepared for it. Thus, I need to make time
to prepare for the quiz during the day. Once I am done with my morning activities, and listing all the things that I need to do on that day, I prepare
myself to leave. Prior to leaving my home, I text my close friend Zelda to remember we meet for lunch at 12:30pm at a

13. Descriptive Essay About Personality
1.Descriptive Essay Nothing But Personality It was my first day at the school, I got into the building where I was going to live. My eyes searched
carefully from the door of one bedroom to that of another for my name which ought to have been pasted on the door of one of these bedrooms. At last
I found it. On stepping into the bedroom I found there was already a student who was making her bed, She was thin, short and black–skinned. Her hair
looked like a bundle of straw. Her dirty clothes and lusterless eyes clearly indicated that she had a long journey. Her clothes were made of cheap cloth.
Her coat was too short, and the legs of her trousers were too loose. She wore a pair of unfashionable rubber shoes. And all her looks made me feel that
she did not look like a smart girl. "A yokel," I concluded. The second she spoke, her accent told me that she was from the south. "May I help you get
your luggage from the office?"
I did not decline her help because I really needed it. She was quick in movement. She walked out of the room and
was soon far ahead of me in the corridor. "A nice girl," I said to myself. "I will make friends with her." I hurried and caught up with her. Sometimes
outlook does not mean anything about personality. 2.Original Poem I Hear The War I hear the rapid crackle of automatic gunfire in the darkness. It
breaks the silent, and the cold mist. As a lion is hunting a

14. The contents of this paper demonstrates the knowledge gained in this course using three of the possible ten questions offered for review. The questions
chosen are: 1.What are the benefits and challenges of understanding individual personality traits of members in a project team? 8.How could you keep
track of various lessons learned associated with communications in order to apply these to a variety of projects and situations? How could you ensure
that you don 't make the same error twice? 10.Many times in projects, even though the team members may understand the planning documents, there is
a disconnect with what individuals envision as project success. As a project manager, how would you help people to articulate the meaningfulness of
project success? Why is this important? Benefits and Challenges of Individual Personality Traits Lussier and Achua describe traits as distinguishing
personal characteristics (2013). They go on to add that the particular combination of traits that define a personal behavior makes up personality. Many
tests claim the ability to measure individual traits against various scales. Graphical layouts are helpful when considering muliple individual traits that
vary in relation to external pressures such as situations, health, wants, needs, punishments, and rewards. Graphic layouts with 2, 4, 8, or 16 scales allow
an appreciation for the blending and influence of these discrete measurements. For instance, in the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator

15. Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits
Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I should know myself the best, right? I like to look
at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady. I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard
to get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of my life. I care more for some others than I do
myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't really show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at
life as if something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and improve what you did wrong if it's possible.

I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family
because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is
shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums
up my personality a little more than psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying that.
Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs
conducts different forms of psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents differently. His study
was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to
see how they would interpret them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different approaches can be brought
together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen
(2010). Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Adolescents and Young Adults. Journal of Social Work

My experiences developing stewardship give me a unique understanding of the challenges entailed. Nevertheless, my belief in staff capabilities and
acceptance of staff generated ideas can activate ownership. For a WSDOT crew meeting, I formulated a presentation based on, Leadership
Effectiveness Training (Gordon, 1977), and facilitated a crew discussion around participative management. As a work group we generated a list of
possible approaches that could assist the department with contract inspection and compliance. Later the list was forwarded to the regional maintenance
manager for comment and possible implementation. Dr. Gordon's book and compiling the presentation confirmed my belief in accountability and

Based on the stages of human development, I am currently in my early adulthood phase. I describe myself as sincere, hardworking, and independent
women. I also consider myself very brave and rebellious because I moved to the United States by myself after high school. I chose to move out of my
family because I wanted to be a changemaker. In terms of my personal life, I am emotionally very strong, and I bring a cheerleading vibe when I

as warm, outgoing, loyal, and sensitive. The first letter E resembles the extraversion character. This means that we have an outgoing personality and
