Muttai Adai
Ingredients
8 nosegg
20 gms soaked Bengalgram dal
30 gms chopped shallots
Salt to taste
5 gms ginger
1 sprig curry leaves
5 gms cumin seeds
15 gms grated coconut
5 gms dry red chillies
5 gms fennelseeds
Pinch asafoetida
50 ml refined oil
Method
Soak and wash Bengalgram daland drain.
To the soaked Bengalgram daladd grated coconut, chopped ginger, cumin
seeds, fennelseeds, dry red chillies and blend it coarsely
Break eggs, add chopped shallots,chopped curry leavesand the blend spice
and dal, add a pinch of asafoetida and salt to taste.
Pour it like pancakeson a hotgriddle or non stick tawa, cook on both sides until
done and serve hot.
