HISTORY
Muraya began in Stockholm, Sweden in 1984, dedicated to just one thing:
to nurture the creation of glass art by world-famous designer, Eva Englund.
As the company grew, contemporary interior design was added to Muraya’s
business.

After being recognized as one of Sweden’s top design firms, Muraya brought
its designers to China, in order to participate in the world’s greatest building
boom of the modern era; and to continue inspiring multinational companies in
helping them achieve their desired office environments.

In 2006, Love Englund partnered with Felix Jiang and Ma Jinren to establish
Muraya DCE in Shanghai, China. Englund’s expertise in Swedish design and
business practices combined with Jiang’s comprehensive project management
experience and Ma’s extensive understanding of the Chinese construction field
resulted in the immediate positioning of Muraya DCE as a significant industry
player.

Today, Muraya DCE is a leading boutique design, engineering, and construction
firm for premier office, retail, and commercial installations throughout Europe
and Asia.

OUR CONSTRUCTION

SERVICES Coordination – Muraya’s project management coordinate subcontractors to proceed in terms
of time, cost and quality.

Submission – Before we can start construction, submission to relative government agencies
need to be supplied and confirmed. Muraya’s submission department has experience and
long term relationships in and around Shanghai to ensure a smooth and fast handling of the
project.

Quality Control – Muraya’s design team will participate in oversight reviews and reviews of
early construction as part of its due diligence responsibilities. Muraya’s technical team observes
that the construction is complying with contract requirements and/or that the QC/QA checks
are complete, it will notify client in writing of in case of any outstanding issues and report when
noted items are corrected.

Method statement – All works and material is handled and carried out according to our
method statement. Installations and solution is adjusted to international standard and are also
compliant with Chinese construction code.

CONSTRUCTION WASTE MANAGEMENT
Construction Waste Management is a part of a growing movement toward
a sustainable world. Sustainability or “green” management techniques are
designed to protect the environment, save resources, and conserve energy.
The use of construction waste management techniques which rely on salvage,
recycle and reuse of materials have proven to have economic benefits for the
construction industry.

On every site and in the factory all waste materials is deposed in to recycle bin
who is separated in to different groups. These recycle bins are handled and
controlled by certified recycle station.
