Trivia Challenge
Did you know that Finland is actually not considered a "Scandinavian"
country, but a "Nordic" country? Wild.com is featuring a trivia
contest of 50-questions related to Finnish hockey and Finnish
culture. The Trivia Challenge was designed to celebrate the Wild's
season opening games in Finland, as well as the many Finnish natives
to wear the Wild uniform including Mikko Koivu, Niklas Backstrom and
Antti Miettinen.
The contest, which runs through Friday, August 13, will precede the
Wild opening the 2010 NHL regular season in Finland and will help
fans learn about the heritage of many Minnesotans, some of the Finnish players who have skated in the NHL and for the
Minnesota Wild. At the end of the contest, the fan who has earned the most points will win the grand prize, including an
autographed Mikko Koivu Team Finland jersey, four tickets to the Wild regular season home-opener at Xcel Energy Center
and an opportunity to meet with Koivu following the game. To register, visit this link.
