Anand is from poor family but intelligent. Anand is fan of Devanand since childhood, go
to watch movie a day before examination however being intelligent score good marks
Anand while appearing English examination paper, Nisha sits next to her, she has
difficulty in solving and asks to Anand, he does not share the answer
Anand & Amar visit to theatre in mid-holiday of the school before coming to home,
checks for new releases, current movies, etc Discuss about story of new movie. He is
allowed only a movie per month
During Diwali Anand’s father could not pay the electrical bill. MSEB guys cuts the
connection. Anand had to use Oil-Lamp to complete the home-work. He alos works part
time at the society, earns some money and uses for the education
Anand and Nisha make sure to visit every day to a town library. They both read lot many
news paper, also movies reviews, releases, etc. They develop a common hobby of
reading and Bollywood (movies)
Amar is middle class family, spends time in extra-curricular activities (debate

Ranjeet is from rich family, his father is very busy in business and various activities, does
not have time to look after & care about the child.
He comments sexy about Nisha, Also he talks rubbish about their favorite actors and
actresses. Anand does not like it, Later gives lecture to Ranjeet to improve
Nisha is a daughter of teacher; she also wants to follow steps of her father. She is very
sincere , sensitive, and caring for others. Once she fell down of staircase and have a
fracture in a bone, she worries about her father, if knows rush on the road.
Ranjeet once complaint to Nisha’s father that Nisha always accompanied by Anand
Anand stood first & Nisha second. Town – Rotary club facilitates both rewarding. They
both decide to work for a town.
Scene 3 Police once catch Amar & Ranjeet since Ranjeet was doing wrongful deed however
Amar was also present during the act. Police frees Ranjeet considering son of big shot.
However Amar has to spend a day at police station and humiliation to him & his father.
His father preaches his company is very important for a life. He decides to be in good
company only. (Lesson of a life)
Amar grows as Police officer. He gets a complaint of evening-tease, catches the other
student at a school, and calls his mother. He remembers above story as a flash-back and
preaches the lesson of the life which he learnt during childhood.
Scene 4 Anand’s mother is very sensitive having lost elder son. She does not allow Anand to go
for swimming or learn cycle or school trip. However after 12th
Anand had to leave for
City Pune for higher education. She says it’s a question of his life which is larger to her
fear and allows.
Anand settles in hostel, learns sincerely, he wakes up to do study & practice early
morning. In fact few among many in college who passes all subjects. Friends appreciate
his intellect. He expresses gratitude towards teachers, and parents.
He recalls his professor conducting tuition free for him. He hopes to have dedicated and
sincere teachers in todays life.
Scene 5 Amar also gets into police training with corrupt practice. He is in dilemma, to live in
value based system or to be a part of it. After completing training, he is posted and find
life is difficult without money, difficult to find good house due to high budget. He
becomes a part of dirty system. However due to a custody of a big guy, he has to again
go to superior in police station to explain and get humiliated. So he becomes a part of
corrupt system being not determined. His dream becomes to earn as much money.
However life is no more respectful. No girl is ready to marry him due to his views about

4. money, ways of earning and enjoying life.
Scene 6 Nisha continues her study and becomes a teacher
Anand becomes doctor, wants to serve his town, He and Nisha discuss, and They decide
to keep their need limited so as to tune the life with value system. They succeed in
doing this. They marry and live happily.

Everyone shares their dreams with grand father
Ranjeet could not pass SSC. Amar monitoring the class and held Ranjeet guilty due to
misbehavior.
Also he is suspended from the school due to misbehave with lady teacher during a trip.
He later supports his father in all what he does. He cultivates all bad habits and live bad
life. He also suffers due to the same. (drinking, womanizer, corrupt practices of power &
money)
Scene 8 Which makes Police officer to change but what is a cost? Due to dilemma he partner
with Ranjeet (fraud businessman) and gets caught. It’s a plot..(nicely to be directed)
Ranjeet because his political contacts transfer the blame to Amar. His senior,
acquaintance and mentor in police remains confident that Amar can not be guilty and
saves him. That is the turning point in his life. He decides to follow value based life.
Scene 9 Ranjeet shifts to large city and tries to call Anand, Amar and Nisha saying its very
exciting to be in big city. They politely refuse to shift. Message is simplicity is better than
show-biz, quality is needed than quantity. Roots of life, relationship are in villages and
small town. Nisha explains how happy she is in small town. She feels humble and proud
producing brilliant students. Her needs are limited and earning is enough. What to do
with huge earning when fact is you have to go empty from this world. She is not sure if
money brings happiness. Expenses at town are half than to that of cities. Passion is
tremendous, you are fresh and energetic always , not tired due to hectic. City life getting
terrible for the next generation.
Ranjeet suffers loss in shares and investments.
Scene 10 Role model of Nisha – her senior teacher; She preaches about life & success, only one
time life you get so use it carefully.
She always says that each attribute within person has to be developed keeping
someone in-front of you as a role model, to be at-least to that person. Her room has
various photos. She has a hobby of understanding each personality. She wants to return

It’s a list of people and their attributes she talks.

Scene 11 Once Doctor Anand too faces dilemma, to be part of cut-practice, openly discusses the
matter with Nisha and decide not to get into the system. Message is transparency helps
I making right decision. Deeds and decisions decide d destiny.
Scene 12 Rented dispensary not suiting to earning, Anand & Nisha give up that. They decide to
operate from home so as to keep needs and expenses minimum. It saves them from
temptation.
Scene 13 Nisha and Anand get in touch with Monk, they do have differences on views with Monk
about next birth. Their question is what about this life. Also differences about micro-
nature of religion points like not eating with fork v/s hurting people (is a violence only)

Garabha and Yatra – Anand and Nisha invite Amar and Ranjeet to attend the festivals
and enjoy the simple life of town. Ranjeet could not make it. He remains busy, however
Amar makes it.

Also Ranjeet popularity starts diminishing due to his attitude and ego. He struggles to
comeback using power of money but people do not bulge. He becomes unpopular. He
cannot digest the failure.
Amar had to take Ranjeet to jail. They remember childhood story Amar catches him for
doing wrong deed. Ranjeet – has to go to jail. He strives missing his life style of drink and
sex.
Amar says during childhood he caught him for misbehaving with a girl, now he is
catching him for misbehavior due to corrupt practices and drinks and misusing power of
money. Learning – do not get controlled by bad habits like sex, money and hot drinks.
He felt ill in jail and understands having AIDs. He gets shattered. He suffers due to
burden/ exploitation of police. Finally hangs himself in jail . He remembers preaching of
Anand and Nisha and ends his life. (Song Prayer repeats)

Life continues with lot of learning for the next generation. Nisha gives a birth to a baby
girl. She summarizes various learnings and determination to be happy by living simple,
contended life however ambitious for doing something for the society. Anand continues
