It is able to use Wi-Fi signals from smartphones to measure metrics beyond just counting people entering and exiting a store, such as outside traffic, visit duration, returning customers, and cross-shopping between stores. The device combines video counting and Wi-Fi counting to provide 5 metrics in one counter without accessing private information or requiring a Wi-Fi network connection.
