Co-Led a group of four in pursuit of decreasing the overall time it takes for an operator to perform a washout/changeover.We used
work measurements and standards,Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED),and Lean manufacturing concepts to study, analyze, an d record
data that would assist in formulating a possible solution to decrease the generaltime it takes to perform washout/changeover process. We
observed various production lines to create a list of steps with their respective times as well as a flow process chart to categorize steps.
