2. I have gained knowledge while working with the core SAP team for SAP Implementation on behalf of
Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd and TCS team. There were many legacy systems [developed using VB 6.0]
those used to talk to the old database like Sybase ASE 15 before SAP implementation.Year2013
onward, those legacy systems got to connect to SAP instead of Sybase. Worked with the TCS ABAP
programmers for establishing this connectivity between SAP and legacy application using RFC, BAPI,
BADI.

Different HR activities like Recruitment , superannuation , promotion events takes place in SAP first and
the same data gets pushed via SAP PI module in Swayam i.e. Lotus domino application on daily basis. On
the contrary, executives apply leave in Swayam and same data is sent to SAP to keep both the application
data in sync. This process is semi-automated now.
Description: SAP data file pertaining to different HR activities get pushed in fixed path in .csv format
through SAP PI module and we collect the same file via ftp and upload in Swayam through lotus notes
client based application. There are different BADI and other SAP programs involved in this activity.

allowances, other outstanding perks which they are entitled for. User centered sophisticated software
with multi criteria search engine. Each such activity gets recorded in the Employee Perquisite register in a
chronological order which becomes a virtual dossier of an employee.
