The Monk Seal lives in the Leeward chain of the Hawaiian islands, with only two surviving species in the world today. They have homes around offshore reefs, submerged banks, and deepwater coral beds, and eat eels, small octopus, and reef fish, having shiny rainbow skin and flippers.
