Mongolia is a country located in East and Central
Asia
It is bordered by Russia to the north and China to the
south, east and west.
I was lucky to live in a ger ( all for
myself) during three days, it has
electricity and a big stove at the
center
As it was Summer the stove was not
necessary, instead I used a big deal
of spray for mosquitos
View of the place where lamb was roasted in a hole on the ground,
traditional mongolian way of cooking
My ger, with wires for bateries, notice the metal sheet in the midle, used
to make fire in Winter, the big stick is used to open the top of the ger, for
fesh air in Summer and smoke in Winter
Nearly all herders live in white gers ( yurt in Russian), a characteristic sight
throughout Mongolia. Each family has their own ger
The traditional herd animals of the Mongolians (the five jewels) are horses,
sheep, goats, cows/yaks and camels

Yak Coat color varies greatly, but black and brown are the predominant ones
Cows (or more frequently yaks in North) for milk, hair and
Horses for riding and airag (or fermented mare’s milk)
Camels for hair and wool and pulling carts
Falconry, hunting with falcons, a traditional sport practiced in
Falconry
