RE: REFEREE LETTER FOR MONAMETSI E OLEBILE
Monametsi E Olebile requested me to provide a reference letter in respect of his application. I am writing this reference
letter in my capacity as his former lecturer Management studies at Monash University, South Africa Campus.
Monametsi was one of the best students in my Entrepreneurship classes. His academic performance in both written and
oral presentations demonstrated a high altitude of critical thinking, problem solving, self-esteem, innovativeness and a
good team player. Monametsi has a wonderful rapport with his peers and his ability to connect with fellow students as well
as his lecturers is truly exceptional. Furthermore, Monametsi demonstrated a commendable ability to embrace diversity,
the ability to work independently as well as making effective contributions in teamwork. He accomplishes tasks assigned to
him with great initiative and a very positive attitude.
In addition to his academic performance Monametsi demonstrated exceptional leadership potential, maturity and a great
sense of responsibility. This was evidenced by how he interacted with fellow colleagues in class as well as his exceptional
ability to balance his work as Student Assistant and his own studies. He also volunteered at the residence office from 2012
till 2013. In addition in 2013, as part of the Monash Advancement team, he was assigned a task to meet and greet
exchange students and new students when they arrive at O.R Tambo International Airport. Monametsi performed this task
very well and this enabled him to interact with fellow students from different countries and cultures.
Monametsi requires an opportunity to demonstrate and improve his skills and level competency. If his performance in
my class is any indication of how he will succeed, Monametsi will surely be a positive addition to your team.
