Biography

1. Dr. Harry Entebang holds a PhD in Business Management majoring in
Corporate Entrepreneurship from Queen’s University Belfast (a
Russell Group of Universities, Northern Ireland United Kingdom, a
Corporate Master in Business Administration (CMBA) majoring in
Finance from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, and a Bachelor of
Accounting (Honours) and a Diploma in Accountancy from Universiti
Teknologi MARA. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of
Accountants as a Chartered Accountant (CA), a member of the
Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, UK as a
Chartered Public Finance and Accountancy (CPFA), a Fellow Member
of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Malaysia (CTIM) and a Member
of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). He received his
early education at Chung Hua Primary School, Sri Aman before he
continued his secondary education at Simanggang Secondary School
(SMK Simanggang).
He started his career as Sub-Accountant in 1991 and later as
Accountant with SAINS in 1996. While with UNIMAS, he served in
various capacities (General Manager & CEO of UNIMAS Holdings
Sdn Bhd, Director of Community Engagement under Assistant Vice
Chancellor’s Office while holding the post of Associate Professor. In
August 2016, he was seconded to the Malaysian Pepper Board as
Director General until Nov, 2018. In Jan 2019, he was awarded with the
Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (Emas) from the State Governor of
Sarawak for his commitments and overall contributions to the
development of pepper industry.
