Molas are an indigenous art form created by the Kuna people of Colombia, who primarily reside on the San Blas Islands. Traditionally part of Kuna women's clothing and originally a form of body painting, molas evolved into a fabric art after the Spanish invasion. The project aims to create new images inspired by traditional molas using paint and soap.
