 Moirel charges an yearly membership fee of $500 upon registration to maintain the premium of our
online community.
 This fee protects our marketplace and forums from spammers and irrelevant contributions.
 Our members will inevitably have a lesser motif to sell counterfeits, relative to other ‘open’ luxury
marketplaces on the internet.
 Our members will know that their peers are of a similar caliber, thereby preserving the elite class of our
community, allowing Moirel to become ‘a place to be seen’online.
The format of Moirel’s listings employ a pull-strategy, i.e. ‘wanted items’, rather than a push-strategy, i.e.
‘items for sale’ as seen on traditional e-commerce marketplaces today.

As you may know by now, Moirel is not only a digital marketplace, but also a collection of curated forums based on
topics that interest it’s community, such as vintage couture, select watches, Hermès handbags, etc.
 Moirel Boutique
A collection of independent lifestyle boutiques under the Moirel umbrella with whom Moirel shares a percentage of
sales.
 Moirel Taste-Match
Upon registration, all members can undergo an optional ‘taste test’ that will record their preferences based on a certain
set of parameters, matching them to other users with similar taste, encouraging community building & strengthening.
 Moirel Philanthropy
With great power comes great responsibility, and here we provide Moirel’s community with a portal to donate to select
charities across the globe.
 Moirel Inner Circle
Some of our member may be more selective in case of their interactions, and this feature allows them to create their
very own, private, invitation-only groups where they may post, buy or sell at their pleasing.
 Moirel Maharaja Club
The Maharaja Club is a collection of three of Moirel’s most exclusive forums, i.e. Moirel Golden, Moirel Platinum &
Moirel Diamond. To gain access to these forums, members either have to accumulate a certain set of points through
trading activity on Moirel, or buy in through paying a certain amount. These clubs are highly exclusive and only
contain the crème de la crème.
Moirel is positioning itself as a global re-commerce platform and curated discussion forum that operates
behind closed doors, providing a protected sanctuary for the items and interests of it’s elite community.
Revenue Streams:
 Yearly membership fee of $500 for all members upon registration. (Rebates offered to
members directed to us by our corporate sponsors).
 Buy in fee of $5,000 - $10,000 - $20,000 for respective tiers of The Moirel Maharaja
Club.
 10% commission charged on all transactions between members.
 10% commission charged on all transactions between members and boutiques.

Overall Strategy
We realize that capturing a global user base of individuals with high profiles and
net-worth may be a cumbersome task.
Our plan to achieve this is through securing ‘Sponsorships and Partnerships’
with reputed corporate brands and philanthropic organizations, that would guide
their clientele to our platform in exchange for presence and advertisements.
Securing our first sponsorship will act as a proof-point for Moirel, thereby
determining the viability of our business model.
Potential Challenges
 Increasing costs of customer acquisition and retention.
 Overseas shipping/customs clearance.
 Canada is a fragmented market, need set immediate base in the U.S, Middle
East and Asian markets.
 Increasing dominance and prevalence of luxury re-sale marketplaces.
 Need to quickly establish a substantial user-base as all depends on user-
generated content.
Execution
Our web platform is currently being developed in-house and will be ready to test-launch
by November 2015.
If accepted by FounderFuel, with development being completed simultaneously, our aim
will be to pre-approach sponsors to have a potential user base lined up before we go live.
We aim to create enough buzz and interest to secure a waiting-list of individuals looking
to join the platform by undertaking various pre-launch digital marketing initiatives,
spanning November 2015 to February 2016.
Our final beta launch will take place in March 2016. Guidance from FounderFuel can
help us pre-pone this date to January 2016.
The Ask
We are currently looking to secure investment for our mobile app, pre-launch marketing
initiatives and working capital for the year of 2016.
The $50,000 investment from FounderFuel for 6% of our company is an ideal starting
point.
Due to our cost-effective marketing strategies and the technical nature of our business
model, we feel this amount will be sufficient for app development and our pre and
(early) post-launch marketing initiatives.
If we manage to score a prominent sponsor by April 2016, we will establish ourselves as
‘venture-ready’ and look forward to raise seed capital to scale up our platform and
business operations.
We will also look forward to present ourselves as eligible for the $150,000 by BDC
Venture Capital moving forward.

  • 3. Sadly… to aggressive marketers, perhaps you are simply just another lead. To data miners, you are just another profile earning them their commissions. To luxury magazine publishers, you feel like a mark to capture more advertising revenue. Your favorite brands bombard your with daily spam to lower their costs of customer acquisition and lifetime value. You are exhausted of social media. You don’t want to see another full page in The Economist trying to sell you something. You want to partake in the conversation. You want to talk about your coin collection. We understand.

People pay a premium to be in premium surroundings, that assures them of premium service quality and other premium-caliber people.  Moirel charges an yearly membership fee of $500 upon registration to maintain the premium of our online community.  This fee protects our marketplace and forums from spammers and irrelevant contributions.  Our members will inevitably have a lesser motif to sell counterfeits, relative to other ‘open’ luxury marketplaces on the internet.  Our members will know that their peers are of a similar caliber, thereby preserving the elite class of our community, allowing Moirel to become ‘a place to be seen’online. The format of Moirel’s listings employ a pull-strategy, i.e. ‘wanted items’, rather than a push-strategy, i.e. ‘items for sale’ as seen on traditional e-commerce marketplaces today.

  • 6.  Moirel Aficionado As you may know by now, Moirel is not only a digital marketplace, but also a collection of curated forums based on topics that interest it’s community, such as vintage couture, select watches, Hermès handbags, etc.  Moirel Boutique A collection of independent lifestyle boutiques under the Moirel umbrella with whom Moirel shares a percentage of sales.  Moirel Taste-Match Upon registration, all members can undergo an optional ‘taste test’ that will record their preferences based on a certain set of parameters, matching them to other users with similar taste, encouraging community building & strengthening.  Moirel Philanthropy With great power comes great responsibility, and here we provide Moirel’s community with a portal to donate to select charities across the globe.  Moirel Inner Circle Some of our member may be more selective in case of their interactions, and this feature allows them to create their very own, private, invitation-only groups where they may post, buy or sell at their pleasing.  Moirel Maharaja Club The Maharaja Club is a collection of three of Moirel’s most exclusive forums, i.e. Moirel Golden, Moirel Platinum & Moirel Diamond. To gain access to these forums, members either have to accumulate a certain set of points through trading activity on Moirel, or buy in through paying a certain amount. These clubs are highly exclusive and only contain the crème de la crème.

Moirel is positioning itself as a global re-commerce platform and curated discussion forum that operates behind closed doors, providing a protected sanctuary for the items and interests of it’s elite community. Revenue Streams:  Yearly membership fee of $500 for all members upon registration. (Rebates offered to members directed to us by our corporate sponsors).  Buy in fee of $5,000 - $10,000 - $20,000 for respective tiers of The Moirel Maharaja Club.  10% commission charged on all transactions between members.  10% commission charged on all transactions between members and boutiques.  Corporate advertising.

  • 9. Overall Strategy We realize that capturing a global user base of individuals with high profiles and net-worth may be a cumbersome task. Our plan to achieve this is through securing ‘Sponsorships and Partnerships’ with reputed corporate brands and philanthropic organizations, that would guide their clientele to our platform in exchange for presence and advertisements. Securing our first sponsorship will act as a proof-point for Moirel, thereby determining the viability of our business model.

Potential Challenges  Increasing costs of customer acquisition and retention.  Overseas shipping/customs clearance.  Canada is a fragmented market, need set immediate base in the U.S, Middle East and Asian markets.  Increasing dominance and prevalence of luxury re-sale marketplaces.  Need to quickly establish a substantial user-base as all depends on user- generated content.
  • 11. Execution Our web platform is currently being developed in-house and will be ready to test-launch by November 2015. If accepted by FounderFuel, with development being completed simultaneously, our aim will be to pre-approach sponsors to have a potential user base lined up before we go live. We aim to create enough buzz and interest to secure a waiting-list of individuals looking to join the platform by undertaking various pre-launch digital marketing initiatives, spanning November 2015 to February 2016. Our final beta launch will take place in March 2016. Guidance from FounderFuel can help us pre-pone this date to January 2016.
  • 12. The Ask We are currently looking to secure investment for our mobile app, pre-launch marketing initiatives and working capital for the year of 2016. The $50,000 investment from FounderFuel for 6% of our company is an ideal starting point. Due to our cost-effective marketing strategies and the technical nature of our business model, we feel this amount will be sufficient for app development and our pre and (early) post-launch marketing initiatives. If we manage to score a prominent sponsor by April 2016, we will establish ourselves as ‘venture-ready’ and look forward to raise seed capital to scale up our platform and business operations. We will also look forward to present ourselves as eligible for the $150,000 by BDC Venture Capital moving forward.
