2. National Management Institute (NMI)
• G2G project (Government to Government Gateway).
It is a national project designed to exchange information between the different
Egyptian ministries based on IBM technology as a premiere in delivering
G2G solutions.
This project is designed as a highly available solution to handle about 130
request per second, it is built on 16 servers, based on SOA using the
following software (TDS, TAM, DataPower, WAS, ESB, WSRR, WMQ,
HTTP, Websphere Business Monitor, DB2 and ITCAM for SOA).
I was the responsible from NMI side to work with IBM Egypt to build the
G2G production environment. As a senior software specialist with a deep and
wide understanding in IBM integrated solutions, I was responsible for
discussing with IBM any technical issues and best practices needed during the
implementation phase, also I was the person who commit on the functionality
of the different components of the project. Also I am responsible to operate
this solution alone.
