1.Accident at Three Mile Island causes nuclear scare
The accident at the Three Mile Island was America’s worst accident that happened at a civilian
nuclear power plant. This accident occurred on March 28, 1979. Another thing that happened is
that half of the fuel melted in one of the two nuclear reactors on Three Mile Island near
Harrisburg, Pa. Also large quantities of radioactivity leaked from the reactor, but luckily most of
it was contained!

president in the United States and he was impeached by the House of
Representatives. He was impeached by the House of Representatives by two charges. One of the
charges that he was charged by was perjury charge and another one of obstruction of justice.

The patriot act was an act of congress that was signed into law by president George w. bush. He
signed the act on October 26 , 2001. The title stands for Uniting and Strengthening America by

The war in Iraq only began because of the suspensions of weapons of massive destructions in
Iraq. In my opinion I would also thought of in that same response that they did because of the
massive destructions that they made. The war in Iraq also led to the fall and execution of
Saddam Hussein.

The war in Afghanistan started in response to the 9/11 attacks that happened. They were
fighting against Al Qaeda, Osama Bin laden and the Taliban government. The war in Afghanistan
is still ongoing.

The health care reform that president Barack Obama promotes is also known as the Obamacare,
but it was officially called the patient protection and affordable care act. This reform was put
into action and signed on March 23, 2010. The health care reform was meant to provide a
affordable quality health care for all of the Americans and reduce the growth in health care
spending and it could also be used for other purposes.
