DEFINITION:
• A model is three dimensional representaion
of a real thing.

• It is the replica of an original thing made with
some suitable material like clay, plaster of
paris, wood, iron etc

8.  Cut-way and x-ray models:
• Are the replicas of the original things to show
internal parts of things.
• Eg cross sectional model of human body.

• These models are either actual working
things or their miniature replicas
• Eg a motor, a generator

10. Sand models:
• Sand models made by using sand, clay, saw,
dust .
• Tribal village ,forest area.

• Scales models are used in order to form
correct idea of an object.
• Eg building models.
