DATA MINING FOR STUDENTS’ EMPLOYABILITY PREDICTIONCSEIJJournal
This study has been undertaken to predict the student employability.Assessing student employability
provides a method of integrating student abilities and employer business requirements, which is becoming
an increasingly important concern for academic institutions. Improving student evaluation techniques for
employability can help students to have a better understanding of business organizations and find the right
one for them. The data for the training classification models is gathered through a survey in which students
are asked to fill out a questionnaire in which they may indicate their abilities and academic achievement.
This information may be used to determine their competency in a variety of skill categories, including soft
skills, problem-solving skills and technical abilities and so on.The goal of this research is to use data
mining to predict student employability by considering different factors such as skills that the students have
gained during their diploma level and time duration with respect to the knowledge they have captured
when they expect the placement at the end of graduation. Further during this research most specific skills
with relevant to each job category also was identified. In this research for the prediction of the student
employability different data mining models such as such as KNN, Naive Bayer’s, and Decision Tree were
evaluated and out of that best model also was identified for this institute's student’s employability
prediction. So, in this research classification and association techniques were used and evaluated.

The paper focused on determining the extent how the students were taught the IT Infrastructures among SUC’s and the extent to which the employment market used the IT Infrastructures in CARAGA administrative region. The respondents were the IT Teachers and Computer Course Students or IT Students of SUC’s and IT Experts from the Industry of CARAGA region. They were made to answer the research made instruments the contents of which were based on the variables of interest. The gathered data were statistically analyzed using both the descriptive and inferential statistical tools. The hypotheses were tested at a 5 margin of error. The study disclosed that the students were taught less from what the industry needs. The student claimed the highest was on the Website. The findings led to curriculum enhancement and thoroughly maintain monitoring. Bryan L. Population and Sampling
The constructs of population and sampling are integral to all research undertakings. Populations refer to a complete set of elements, whether persons or objects, that possess some common characteristics defined by the sampling criteria established by the researcher(Han,2019). The number of elements in the populations reflects the size of the population. Populations can fall into either target populations or accessible populations. The targeted population for this research study will consist investment leaders from capital investment companies in the northeast of U.S , who have a least 5 years experiences in the industry and implanted strategies to increase investment return, and investment performance.
The population is a collection of individuals from which researchers develop their sample research study(Han, 2019). Researchers must ensure the targeted population to be accessible; selecting an inaccessible population could potentially affect the scholar's ability to collect data(Binde & Romild, 2019). Aligning the population with the research question allows researchers to collect data from strategic investment decision making leaders from capital investment industry in northeast region of the U.S ,who met the criteria from the research study. Hence, providing enough data is a precursor to credible analysis and reporting to determine an adequate sample size that has a direct relation with data saturation. However, the quantity is not the determining factor when it comes to data saturation; the quality of the data must align with the research study(Binde & Romild, 2019).
Sampling refers to the process of selecting a sample from a population of interest so that a researcher can fairly generalize the results gained from these participants to the population from which the researcher obtained the sample(Wei et al,2019). There are different types of sampling techniques that researchers can utilize during their investigations, which broadly fall into probability and non-probability sampling(Wei et al ,2019). Some of the most notable probability sampling techniques include simple random sampling, stratified sampling, clustered sampling, and systematic sampling (Han, 2019).
Thu, on the contrary, non-probability sampling techniques include convenience sampling, purposive sampling, quota sampling, and snowball sampling. The main difference between a sample and a population has to do with the manner in which the researcher assigns observations to the data set(Binde & Romild, 2019). A population includes all the elements from a data set, whereas a sample consists of one or more observations derived from the population. The constructs of population and sampling can indeed find direct application in my doctoral research study. I will use purposive sample to compute the correct sample size from the population that can make the findings easy to generalize to the wider population.

Discovering Student Dropout Prediction through Deep Learningijtsrd
There have been increased incidences of dropout that have been noticed in the universities in the recent years. These increased reports have been instrumental in introducing the graduation rate of the course completion rate for majority of universities all over the globe. Dropouts are highly undesirable and are an indication of some underlying inconsistencies that have been plaguing the course since a long time. Therefore, an effective system for the purpose of prediction of the dropout rate is the need of the hour. To reach these goals this research article has utilized machine learning approaches. The proposed methodology utilizes the K Nearest Neighbor, Fuzzy Artificial Neural Network and Decision Tree. This approach has been illustrated in utmost detail in this research article, highlighting the execution of the various important modules of the methodology. The experimentation has been performed to achieve the performance of the approach which has yielded highly accurate results. Future of education project overview oct 2018 lrFuture Agenda
Future of Education
The broadening world of education is undergoing several major shifts. Driven in part by technology innovation and new business models, the learning process is being reinvented and there is a transformation of education economics and outcomes. Alongside this, there are government imperatives to improve access and address the growing requirement for flexible knowledge workers with transferable skills who can adapt to the changing job market. An ageing workforce also means that there is an increasing need for lifelong learning and re-skilling. In addition there is an increasing demand for a more personalised, immersive and mobile learning experience. All this is challenging the traditional expectations around higher education and the role that universities should play. While countries such as Finland and Singapore are consistently seen as leaders in the field, other nations are trying hard to catch up.
Ahead of a series of global expert events during 2019, this is an overview of the Future of Education project. It provides some background on Future Agenda and preceding multi-nation programmes, highlights some of the questions being raised and outlines options for organisations around the world to get involved. Different governments, technology companies, universities and education service providers are collaborating to support this programme that will develop a clear, shared and detailed view of how the future of education may unfold. If you would like to join in and host one of these events in your region, do let us know (tim.jones@futureagenda.org) and we can integrate that into the planning.
Across the globe, human ingenuity is transforming all dimensions of education. More learners are learning differently and exploring emerging fields. Educators and institutions are rethinking their approaches to adjust to learners’ evolving behaviors, enhance the art of teaching and redefine the educational path. This special edition of articles reprinted from Compass magazine brings together stories that are shaping these boundaries.
Learning Media Development of Writing Procedure Texts for Junior High SchoolS...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT : This research aims to determine the development steps, feasibility and effectivenessof learning
media for writing procedural texts for junior high school students. This research uses the Research and
Development (R&D) type of research which refers to the ADDIEmodel. The data collection instruments
for this research used questionnaires and test sheets. From the media experts' assessment results, an average
of 96.6% was obtained in the verygood category, material experts' results were obtained on average 80% in
the Good category, and language experts obtained an average of 94% in the Very Good category. This means that
it can be linked as a learning media based on the Pixellab application and is suitable for use inlearning. Judging
from the results of the trial in the small group, namely 10 students at thepre-test stage obtained a score of
588 and post-test 802 with a score of 0.51 in the quitedecent category, while in the large group, namely 27
students at the pre-test stage obtained ascore of 1,561 and pretest 2,220 with a score of 0.57 in the quite decent
category. So based onthe results of this comparison, the learning media based on the Pixellab application
forlessons on writing procedural texts is quite suitable for use as learning media in SMP.

of international virtual project teams
International virtual teams are a relatively new form of working organisation, closely linked to the
global development of information technologies. Their dynamic development is causing growing
interest in both advantages and weaknesses of this form of cooperation in international business.
The aim of this review paper, in addition to organising terminology related to different types of
teams, is to identify the benefits and shortcomings of this form of working organisation. To
achieve this aim, the descriptive method and qualitative approach were used. The basic method
of collecting qualitative data were unstructured individual and group interviews and observa-
tion, in particular participant observation. These were supplemented by data from secondary
sources, such as research papers and reports from quantitative studies. A comparative analysis of
the data collected from primary and secondary sources allowed to identify the advantages and
disadvantages of international virtual teams, with made it possible to formulate conclusions and
recommendations.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
