Workflows and Forms in Microsoft world - when to use whatAsif Rehmani
We all know that forms and workflows are essential for us in any SharePoint initiative. However, the ever evolving story around these technologies has confused a lot of people. Questions such as the following come to mind:
What tools should I be using or should we be creating them from scratch?
Will my forms and workflows continue to work when I upgrade?
Are SharePoint Designer and InfoPath still alive or should I concentrate my efforts on PowerApps and Flow?
Should I consider a 3rd party solution?

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

No, this is totally separate and completely compatible.
Does this require a SharePoint add-on?
No, this requires nothing special on SharePoint and works on

50. Under the Hood
A job is really an instance of an InfoPath
form residing in a SharePoint library.
Grabbing a job is really checking out and
downloading the InfoPath XML file.
Mobile users are shielded from SharePoint
and will not know it exists unless you tell
them
51. A Different Kind of Workflow Technology
Unlike most other workflow systems, ours is
not server based or script driven.
Formotus workflows are device-based and
filter-driven.
Our mobile app queries the SharePoint
library and returns a view of jobs based on
the form’s custom filters.
Jobs can be filtered by user ID and by the
values of fields in the form.
