Superintendent – Summit View Youth Correctional Center (SVYCC)
 Open maximum security juvenile facility with responsibility for physical
upgrades to facility ensuring safety of all developing policies, procedures,
rules and regulations. First in State to implement PBIS programming
system.
 Responsible for providing management and oversight of programmatic and
operational components of SVYCC, to include: recruiting, hiring, and
training staff; participating in both planning and implementation of biennial
budget; and ensuring appropriate educational, medical, dental and mental
health services are provided to youth.
 Prepare and submit monthly and biennial reports, establish and maintain
effective relationships with stakeholders, including community, agencies,
and administrative representatives.
 Coordinate services with Nevada Youth Parole Bureau pertinent to
