2016 (Feb) – Present Project Engineer with Aalborg CSP
My time working with Aalborg CSP has been invaluable in building on my strong
project management and structural, mechanical, piping (SMP) construction
background. The role was predominantly hands on assisting with commissioning
works as well as supervising and coordinating subcontractors. My job
responsibilities have included:
• Instrumentation loop testing
• Cold commissioning of plant
• Troubleshooting on mechanical/electrical problems
• Procurement of various materials to complete works (bolts/gaskets/valves/
custom machined parts)
• Assisting Technicians (Boiler, Water Treatment plant, MED)
• Contractor management (boilermakers, laggers, scaffolders)
• Coordinating and closing out punch-list works
• Carrying out maintenance tasks (heat exchanger clean, pump inspections,
pump shaft seal replacement, filter changes, blowing out blocked valves)
• Familiarising with plant mechanical circuits and control loops

NDT, Painting, Scaffolding, Cranes, Transport, etc)
• Problem solving (technical, material, schedule)
• Ensuring facilities are constructed according to drawings and specifications.
• Management of project schedules & progress reporting
• Management of project documentation (SOW, TQ’s, Client specs, IFC
drawings, ITP & MDR.
• Development & Management of project specific ITP’s and ensuring Quality
requirements are met.
• Drawing interpretation and MTOs
• Procurement & expediting of project materials pipe, valves, plate/structural
steel, etc
• Providing technical & logistical support to both workshop & onsite.
• Implementing company WHS policy and culture
• Management of budget & cost reporting. Including documenting variation
