1. Creaming Method
Thecreaming method is an ideal method to get a soft textured
cake at home so easily. The cake baked with this method will be
easy to slice and stack in layers. It is one of the most common
methods for mixing cake batter.
The steps involved in this method are:
1. First, you need to beat the butter and sugar gently until they
get fluffy and lighten in color. After that, you can add egg and
beat it one at a time.
2. Then, add the other ingredients like flour and milk to this
mixture and mix them well just to combine them all together.
3. Now, you can put them in a pan and bake.

2. Blending method
Theblending method is a simple and quick way to mix cake
batter, making it ideal for moist and tender cakes. It is commonly
used for cakes with a high proportion of liquid ingredients.
The steps involved in this method are:
1. First, place the flour and shortening in a mixing bowl and
blend them together until the flour is fully coated with the
shortening.
2. Next, add the dry ingredients along with a portion of the liquid
and mix well.
3. Then, gradually add the remaining liquid and continue mixing
until everything is well combined.
4. Finally, pour the batter into a baking pan and bake.
14.
The single-stage method,also known as the all-in-
one method, is the easiest and quickest way to
prepare cake batter. This method ensures an even
consistency with minimal effort.
The steps involved in this method are:
1. Place all ingredients, including flour, sugar, eggs,
butter, and milk, in a mixing bowl.
2. Mix everything together until the batter becomes
smooth and well combined.
3. Once mixed, transfer the batter into a baking pan
and bake until done.
