2. In this scene you can see Eli holding both the gun and the book very tightly. The gun is
held closer to Solara to show how he wants to defend it at all costs. Also in the
background is a visibly broken sing with mould growing above it to show how scarce
water is now.
3. One lit candle/light in the room, very little food, Solara holding trust in Eli. Casual clothes
are worn, very well lit, positive lighting, Eli's eyes focusing on Solara. Cloth on the table
could suggest that Eli is trying to protect Solara

sides, most of which have cracked windows showing how the
apocalypse has taken over. Furthermore, the grass growing on the
road also suggests that no one has driven on it in a very long time
