Data Cleanse
 Two activities currently taking place:
– Clear out of all data from predecessor college
– Clear out of ‘old’ data from current college
 Going forward:
– Annual clear out of ‘old’ college data, possibly done
each December
– Agreement on approach i.e. college or SQA to
process withdrawal/change of completion date
SQA Connect
 Upgraded version of SQA Connect will launch early
May
 Level of access will remain the same
 Username will change to registered email address
 SQA.net services (Navigator and File Exchange) will
be merged into SQA Connect soon after
Lapse Dates
 Default lapse period allocated to a qualification when a
finish date is applied:
– SVQ L1&2 – 2 years
– SVQ L3,4&5 – 4 years
– Non regulated qualifications – normally 3 years
– Units – normally 2 years
 No entries accepted after lapse date for regulated
Group awards only
