Fitbit for mental health
Chris is a city manager and health nut. He’s
always chipper and upbeat no matter the
situation. He runs 12 miles every day to stay
physically fit because his fitness is of
paramount importance to him. He tracks
everything he eats, his caloric intake, his sleep,
and every activity he partakes in to maintain an
accurate picture of his physical well-being. He
uses the data he collects to self-correct if
anything falls out of sync. Chris has suffered
from depression and has seen those around
him in very similar situations, and he doesn’t
know how to deal with it. He talks to a therapist
occasionally and it helps, but it is quite
expensive, time-consuming, and too
infrequent--it doesn’t help him manage nor
think through his day-to-day stress.
Use Case
As a neurotic health enthusiast at risk for depression,
I want to track my mental health and analyze trends
so I am better prepared to avoid relapse.
