● With a little extra money to donate a gallon

● To raise awareness of Heartland Hope
Mission need for milk donations
● Use social media as a tool to get our target
audience involved
● By using #Moolahformilk we will get your
name out to the public
6. “Moolah for Milk”
● At the beginning of each season, there will be a two
week event advertised by coupons and at register that
raise awareness for Heartland Hope milkdrive
● Customers can buy milk for a discounted (25% off) price
and the difference will be donated to Heartland Hope
Mission for them to use specifically for milk
● Heartland Hope can put donated money to better use
than it would be able to do with actual milk
● You can buy up to three and will have the option to
donate $2, $5 or $10
7. “Moolah for Milk”
● There are 11 Hy-Vees in Omaha
● By contacting Hiland Dairy or any local dairy
company the mission may be able to get
double the milk from the money donated
● Partner with local Universities for Health
Science students to conduct drive

● With Hy-Vee and Heartland Hope mission
joining forces, they can use the slogan,
“where there’s a helpful smile in the dairy
aisle”
● With hopes to create a “dairy aisle” in
Heartland Hope Mission sometime soon!

● People can raise awareness of Heartland
Hope Mission milk needs by using the
#MoolahforMilk and @HeartlandHope
● Target local businesses with their Twitter
handles: “Have you donated today?”

Other Twitter examples could include:
● Protein fights diseases, renews cells, and builds
muscles. Each glass of milk contains 8 grams of
protein.
● Milk provides the body with energy through lactose.
● Milk is rich in many nutrients essential for good health
and proper growth. Not all children have access to daily
dairy products.

● Using the hashtag #moolahformilk
● A cut-out available at the Hyvee store in the
dairy aisle, promoting the Twitter and
Instagram to gain more followers and
awareness

14. Milk Cards
● Heartland Hope will provide a certificate to
obtain a gallon of milk from any Hy-Vee
store
● In order to get a gallon of milk, the recipient
must have a card
● All Hy-Vee locations will use their
refrigerators to hold the milk available for
Heartland Hope, until Heartland Hope is able
to store the milk
15. Conclusion
● Primary Purpose: Increase awareness for
milk need in families who need assistance
● Secondary Purpose: Increase the amount of
milk donations and money to be used
towards milk
● Tertiary Purpose: Increase awareness of the
Heartland Hope Mission
