Migration By Stephanie Phen
There are 2 main reasons why people move. Some people move because they WANT to move. But other people move, because they NEED to move WANT To have more kids To have more experience To travel To study To learn a new language To visit relatives To have higher pay To go to a better school NEED Natural disaster To escape Discrimination To seek freedom To seek Liberty To keep a religion To seek asylum To seek equality

Why did I move? I was born in Jinan, China. When I was 4 years old, my parents took me took Canada. They took me there because they wanted me to grow up in North America. I lived there for 6 years, but when I turned 10, my parents decided to take me back to China. I was absolutely horrified. In Canada, I had many friends, I knew my way around everything, I loved my house and neighborhood, we lived right by the sea, my best friend lived 2 blocks down, it was all perfect. I didn’t want to leave everything behind. But my parents wanted to improve my mother tongue, and they wanted me to experience a new place. When I actually moved to China, it was actually not bad. My school was cool, I made new friends, and I got a dog. Things started looking up!
Push Factors & Pull factors Push factors are people that are pushed out of there Nationality, but they don’t want to go. Pull factors are people that pull the people from there Nationality. It’s like predator and prey.
