Miss Hughes has been teaching at YISS since 2005. She originally comes from Ohio, USA and has a undergraduate degree from Liberty University and a masters degree from Regent University. She has felt called to serve God overseas since going on her first missions trip at age 13 and has spent her career since sharing her faith through teaching in Korea.

5. Why I’m in Korea
• I accepted Jesus Christ as my
savior at a young age.
• I rededicated my life to Christ in
middle school.
• At the age of 13, I went on my first
overseas missions trip and realized
that I wanted to serve God
overseas.
• Throughout my middle, high school,
and university years I participated in
numerous missions trips and fell in
love with cultures and sharing the
love of God with others.
