2. Thus far in Professional Writing, I have

dramatically improved the quality of my
writing.
In addition, this course has changed how I
view others in a professional setting, and the
styles in which I choose to communicate with
them.

examined and highlighted various elements
of Professional Writing including:

4. Every assignment so far has been linked to
the content and goals of the course.
Introductory assignments such as uploading
a picture of ourselves increased familiarity
with online programs such as Canvas.
The Analysis Assignments were directly
related to the chapters in which we were
exploring to reinforce textbook learning.
5. Each of the Writing Assignments highlighted
multiple aspects of professional writing, while
simultaneously stressing the importance of
peer collaboration when editing.
The Unit Tests help further understanding of
key chapter concepts and test reading
comprehension and absorption of class
materials.
6. Not only because of the course requirement
to pass the class, but Professional Writing is
ever-present in life outside of the classroom.
It can be found everywhere, and affects most
of us on a level beyond the workplace, but
when we consume as well.
Most of the time, one doesn’t notice the
elements of Professional Writing until they
have taken this class.
7. Specifically with my major, being in the
Business Management program, I use and
have to be accustomed to the Professional
way of writing.
I now find that just about all of my classes
require that I utilize the elements learned in
this class when completing individual papers
or team assignments.
8. When my future career becomes in focus, I
will undoubtedly be faced with co-workers
and peers in my associated field that have
undergone the same education, if not better,
than myself.
It is pivotal that I stick to what I have learned
in this course when communicating to be
successful.
9. I have made a few goals for myself in
correlation with this assignment and the class
that I hope will continue to improve my
communication.
1. Always communicate professionally when
dealing with co-workers and other
professionals in the industry.
2. Upon receiving any form of communication
from a business professional, I will
communicate in a timely matter.
10. 3. If a business professional chooses to
communicate in a way that is unprofessional,
I will respond professionally, and to not
retaliate with unprofessional means of
communications.
I know that a majority of my future success
lies with communication, and if I follow these
guidelines, I believe that I will be on the right
path.
