1. Middle School Memoir
Objective: the objective of this project is to use the Narrative mode of writing
to create a reflection of a series of memories that occurred during your Middle
School experience. As you transition to High School, or any big transition in
life, it always serves one to look back and remember what has happened and
the change that occurred. However, you are the storyteller and get to add your
interpretation of life’s events.
Logistics: you are to write a 3-5 page, double spaced, 12 point font Memoir.
This is a long-term assignment, homework coupons will be accepted on the
deadlines except for the Rough Draft and Final Draft. If you find you need
more time, please plan to come to school early, stay after, or make arrange-
ments to work from the public library.
Organization: your Memoir must have some form of organization that is
logical to a three year story. This should be one of the most important issues
you consider when formulating your thoughts into your Memoir. Whether it
be chapters, similar themes amongst all three grades, etc.
