MICROSOFT CSR PARTNER OF SMILE.  Smile Foundation is a National level development organization reaching out to lakhs of underprivileged children and youth through innovation projects on education, healthcare and livelihood in states of India.
 Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is the largest private foundation in the world, founded by Bill and Melinda Gates.  The primary aims of the foundation are, globally, to enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty, and expand educational opportunities and access to information technology.
 Tackle problems in following areas :- Global Development Global Health - Water, sanitation, hygiene. -HIV. - Vaccine delivery. -Malaria. -Agriculture& Nutrition. -Tuberculosis.  Avahan is an initiative sponsored by the BMGF to reduce the spread of HIV in India.  Reduce hunger and poverty for millions of farming families by increasing agricultural productivity.
Recent CSR Activities Human rights. Carbon neutrality. Empowering non-profits. Supply chain.
CONCLUSION Microsoft is ranked No 1 in world ranking for CSR for the years 2012 and 2013. It is an example for all organizations proving that they can be successful in making profits as well as contributing to the society.

  • 6. MICROSOFT CSR PARTNER OF SMILE.  Smile Foundation is a National level development organization reaching out to lakhs of underprivileged children and youth through innovation projects on education, healthcare and livelihood in states of India.
  • 7.  Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is the largest private foundation in the world, founded by Bill and Melinda Gates.  The primary aims of the foundation are, globally, to enhance healthcare and reduce extreme poverty, and expand educational opportunities and access to information technology.
  • 8.  Tackle problems in following areas :- Global Development Global Health - Water, sanitation, hygiene. -HIV. - Vaccine delivery. -Malaria. -Agriculture& Nutrition. -Tuberculosis.  Avahan is an initiative sponsored by the BMGF to reduce the spread of HIV in India.  Reduce hunger and poverty for millions of farming families by increasing agricultural productivity.
