Michael Schumacher was born in 1969 in Germany. He is considered the most successful Formula 1 driver of all time, having won 7 world championships. He began karting at age 5 and started official competitions at age 14. He won several championships in Formula 3 and Formula 3000 before being signed by Ferrari in 1996, where he helped them win multiple constructors' and drivers' titles after over a decade without a championship. He retired in 2006 but made a comeback in 2010 before retiring again. He resides in Switzerland with his wife and two children.
