- 2. STYLE The style of the production would be an abstract style with lots of flood lights for most of the scenes. This allows plenty of illumination so the audience can see the whole scene.
- 3. THE FRENCH COURT The scenes in the French Court seemed bleak and slightly depressing. The lighting for these scenes would be very dull and dim.
- 4. THE FRENCH COURT Spots in the corners of the French Court would have no flow of the light and make the scenes appear more depressing and dark. The lights would also all shine on the scenery from the front making objects look even more flat and uninteresting.
- 5. THE FOREST OF ARDEN The scenes of the play that occur in the forest are more happy and lighthearted. So the lighting in these scenes would be brighter and convey more color.
- 6. THE FOREST OF ARDEN The setting is springtime so this also supports the layout of bright colors and bright light.
- 7. THE FOREST OF ARDEN Small quantities of green light on the trees and blue light on the sky would bring out the colors better while also making them appear brighter.
