They discovered the witch had left behind a bag of miniature souvenirs from European landmarks that magically grew to full size and started talking, revealing the witch's plan to steal landmarks to build her own planet ruled by her. The children drank a potion from the witch which transformed the girls into witches and the boys into wizards. One boy worked to create an antidote while the others transformed, and he eventually succeeded after battles with dragons. In the end, the children defeated the witch's plan and lived happily ever after.

The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions.
