What is MHS?
MHS is a fully loaded Learning Management System for mathematics that has every resource a
math teacher needs to begin implementing blended learning into their classroom immediately. The

MHS Fact Sheet
Where is MHS used?
MHS is now used in over 75% of the schools in all 9 English Quebec school boards. The program
has been approved as a primary resource in British Columbia by ERAC. Nova Scotia has
instituted MHS province wide for all grade 10 students for 2016/17 school year. It has also been
fully customized for use in Ontario, New Brunswick and other Canadian provinces and is currently
being customized to the Common Core State Standards in the US.
Curriculum Alignment:
MHS sits down with teams of teachers and curriculum consultants from each jurisdiction it enters in
order to make sure that they not only satisfy 100% of the government expectations, but that they
satisfy the approach and pedagogy of each individual school board.
Teacher Engagement
 Over 80% of MHS teachers actively engage with the software on a regular basis.
 Compare with other Educational Technology that reports just 5% teacher engagement.
Is MHS difficult to use?
MHS has made a strong commitment to professional development and our certified trainers go out
to each school to walk teachers through the use of their teacher’s module. We then return to launch
the software in the classroom with the classroom teacher so that the students hit the ground
running. We have found that the schools that have experienced the in-school PD for teachers and
students have realized the greatest benefits from implementing MHS.
Is MHS a primary resource?
MHS is designed to be a platform and backbone resource that allows classroom teachers to do
their job more effectively. While no single resource should ever be the only resource a teacher
uses, MHS is suitable as a teacher’s primary resource given that it is the only resource that covers
all curriculum expectations.
What types of questions do teachers & students have access
to?
MHS is designed to take students from basic skill building through to preparation for final exams.
There are classroom investigations that focus on collaborative inquiry-based learning, thinking
questions, contextual real-world applications questions and communication-style questions built in
to the system.
