The MFY-01 Leak Tester is designed to test for leaks in packages for food, drugs, medical supplies, chemicals, cars, and electronics. It utilizes preset vacuum levels and times for accurate results. Major components are imported from renowned countries for reliable performance. A microcomputer controls the automatic test process, displaying results on an LCD screen. The instrument tests specimens by placing them in a vacuum chamber that slowly purges one side with nitrogen to detect oxygen permeating through from the other side.

MFY-01 Leak Tester is professionally designed for leakage test
of packages for food, drugs, medical instruments, daily chemical
products, cars, electronic components, stationeries and other
industrial products. The instrument also can be used to test seal
performance of specimens after falling and compression tests.
Professional Technology
 The instrument utilizes the digital preset design of vacuum degree
and vacuum retention time to ensure the accuracy of test data
 Major components are imported from renowned countries with reliable and stable performance
 Specimens could be tested in the preset vacuum condition by automatic compensation of constant pressure
 Professional software supports automatic back flushing and test termination to provide a safe test
environment
 The instrument is controlled by micro-computer, with LCD and PVC operation panel, which is convenient
for customers to test and view test data
Test Principle
The pre-conditioned specimen is mounted between the upper and lower chambers at ambient atmospheric pressure.
One chamber contains oxygen and the other chamber is slowly purged by a stream of nitrogen. Due to the
concentration difference between the two chambers, oxygen molecules permeate through the specimen into the
nitrogen side and are taken to the coulometric sensor where it produces corresponding amount of electrical signals.
The oxygen transmission rate is then obtained by analyzing and calculating the signals. For package samples, high
purity nitrogen flows inside the package, and oxygen flows outside.
