1Construction Of CNC Machine
∞ Introduction To Company :
Mr. P.G. Jadeja and Mr. S.L. Jadeja being the promoters of Jyoti were involved in the
machine tools business since 1989. This business including manufacturing of CNC machine
was continued by them in Jyoti since 2002.
Driven by a vision to build the company into a temple of technology through team work, the
organization has grown manifold from manufacturing gear boxes for machines to
developing precision all-geared head lathe machines and later on sophisticated CNC
Machines. Continuous process improvement and fast adoption of State-of-the-art
technology has led Jyoti in becoming a leader in innovating manufacturing techniques.
∞ Company Profile :
Driven by a vision to build the company “A Temple of Technology” through teamwork. Jyoti
was the first company to manufacture CNC machines in Gujarat. It was not an end, there are
many firsts attached with Jyoti since then. Jyoti, driven by technology and innovation keeps
including new firepower in its arsenal by introducing machines like CNC Turning Centers,
Vertical Machining Centers, Oval Turning Center i-SECT and machines like VMC 40/70 Linear
with innovative Linear technology.
∞ Management System :
Jyoti has adopted 5S management system and has been stuck with it till the date. Jyoti has
won 5S competition award from Quality Circle Forum of India. Let us have a glance to the

 Remove unnecessary items and dispose of them properly.
 Make work easier by eliminating obstacles.
 Reduce chance of being disturbed with unnecessary items.

 Arrange all necessary items in order so they can be easily
picked for use.
 Prevent loss and waste of time.
 Ensure first-come-first-serve basis.

 Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
 Maintain everything in order and according to its standard.
5. Shitsuke
 To keep in working order.
 Also translates to "Self-Discipline" meaning to do without being told.

Let us try to explain these all departments in brief.
1) Leonardo Da’ Vinci R & D Center :
Jyoti has developed a well versed and a versatile R & D center
to keep up the company with the international trends towards
the automation and manufacturing excellence. This research
and development center has been developed to carry on the
research activity in a full fledged manner. The R & D Center of
Jyoti is been dedicated to an ancient design genius Leonardo
Da’ Vinci who designed the First Lathe machine in early of
16th Century.

2) Foundry :
Foundry is totally mechanized with the production of 1000 tonnes per month. For
melting, Jyoti has installed 3 tonnes capacity Induction Furnace. Let us see the flow
process chart of the foundry process elements.
3) Machining Shop :
Jyoti Industry is having 5 machining shops which are equipped with very high
capacity and accuracy machines. They can machine components up to 10 meters in
length and 3 meters in width with very high accuracy of 10 microns. Some of the

4) Sheet Metal :
Sheet Metal is equipped with very precise
and versatile machinery producing precision
sheet metal components. The most modern
Sheet Metal plant of Jyoti is having following
facilities:
- Trumpf machine of Germany having
Laser cutting technology.
- Trumpf CNC press brake / bending
machine.
- Shearing Machine
- Along with Robotic Welding facility.
- MIG Welding
5) Paint Shop :
Jyoti has established a paint shop which is
fully automated and it comprises of
conveyorized backing with powder
coating booths. There are 4 powder
coating booths in line of different colors.

6) Assembly Shop :
Assembly shop has 12 assembly lines to
assemble different machines
simultaneously. Various machines
manufactured in different shops are
brought to this shop to be assembled
with accuracy and precision. So to
maintain the quality of the machines,
several tests are done which are listed
below :
- Squareness Test - Spindle Vibration Test
- Coolant Trail Test - Cutting Test
- Geometrical Test - Practical Test
- Laser Calibration - Final Inspection
