Contoh PENDAHULUAN
People who are overweight or obese are at increased risk of developing
many illness including hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and non-insulin
dependent diabetes. However, many adult continue to be overweight. In
1995, result from the National Nutrition Survey in Australia suggested that
63% of men and 47% of women were either overweight or obese.
Despite the impact of excess body weight on health, self-perception of
body mass in the general population has not been properly investigated. The
only information comes from small , unrepresentative sample of women,
particularly younger women, or from national studies in which self-reported
weighs might be unreliable. Until reliable information of self-perceptions of
body mass is collected, it is difficult to design effective weigh loss
intervention strategies.
In 1998, we conducted cross sectional survey of adult in which we
accurately measured height and weight. In this paper, we report information
about adult’s perception about their own body mass.

INTRODUCTION
 However, whereas potential impacts on animals have
been studied extensively, little attention has been paid to
plants.
 In contrast, there is limited data on PFC distribution in
other tissues such as gills, which may play a role in PFC
uptake directly from the water column, and gonads,
which may be implicated in the maternal transfer of PFC
to eggs.

nematode community structure, river contamination
sources and RPI.

40 of them died, and 10 were hospitalised.
Among 800 untreated patients, 45 died and
60 were hospitalised
 Mortality among 600 patients treated with
garlic pills was 6.6 p100 py, 18% higher
than among 800 untreated patients.
However, hospitalisations among those
treated were 71% lower than among the
untreated (1.6 vs 5.6 p100 py)

  • 34. Contoh PENDAHULUAN People who are overweight or obese are at increased risk of developing many illness including hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and non-insulin dependent diabetes. However, many adult continue to be overweight. In 1995, result from the National Nutrition Survey in Australia suggested that 63% of men and 47% of women were either overweight or obese. Despite the impact of excess body weight on health, self-perception of body mass in the general population has not been properly investigated. The only information comes from small , unrepresentative sample of women, particularly younger women, or from national studies in which self-reported weighs might be unreliable. Until reliable information of self-perceptions of body mass is collected, it is difficult to design effective weigh loss intervention strategies. In 1998, we conducted cross sectional survey of adult in which we accurately measured height and weight. In this paper, we report information about adult’s perception about their own body mass.
