Megan Baker observed her two-year-old toddler Junior and documented his behavior, social skills, physical abilities, emotional state, cognitive skills, and language development. She found that Junior is well-tempered, social, physically active, emotionally happy with attention and affection, enjoys educational games, and has above average language comprehension for his age. Making a conscious effort to observe her child from an educator's perspective helped Megan understand his feelings, needs, and how to guide him.

to just going on a
walk and getting the
mail.

From what I observe
junior would do great
in team sports with
peers on day.

he usually is.

and even tempered boy.

It was interesting to step back and actually make

from the stand point of say a teacher or care
giver. I was more open to understanding how he
felt, what he wanted, what I needed to do to
help him and how to help guide him in what he
was doing. All which are important for any
