Subba Rao is a middle-class Indian man who struggles with lack of access to healthcare and education for his children, and uses poor public transportation despite influencing politics. He and many other Indians are caught between mainstream parties focused on power and spending heavily on elections, and the Loksatta party which promises reform through democratic process and 50 guarantees to improve living standards. Subba Rao must decide whether to vote for traditional parties pursuing short-term gains, or Loksatta which aims to establish new political culture centered on citizens through policies like equal opportunities.
