This project proposal outlines the development of an inventory management software called MEDICA for a pharmaceutical company. The software will be web-based and allow different user levels to manage inventory information. Key features will include user authentication, managing raw materials, suppliers, finished products, customers and their orders. The software will track inventory levels and allow reordering when thresholds are met. It will be developed using ASP.NET MVC, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and an SQL Server database. The target completion is 13 weeks with tasks divided according to a provided schedule. Sample user interfaces are displayed for login, user management, home page, product management and order reporting functions.

As discussed in the last class, new raw materials are added against the supplier orders and new products
are added against the customer orders. If the regular inventory is reduced below a predefined threshold
level, then an option for re-order may be included. Admin or the Super-user can add the suppliers' and
customers' information.
If the the above mentioned features are developed before deadline, then an option to calculate costs of
inventory may be added.
Motivation of the Project:
1. To manage different levels of inventory related information
2. To report orders both received from customers and to be sent to suppliers
3. To calculate costs based on formulae of High Level Inventory Management
