2. AUDIENCE FEEDBACK
• The feedback I received after the film show was great. Not only did the
audience comment on things they really liked, they also made sure to
tell me of things that if I were to go back and change something, I
should do.
• I learned from this feedback that with hard work and concentration on
even the minor details, it can have an effect on how the audience view
your work.
• The overall reception of the work was excellent, with audience members
saying they found it cute, yet also relatable. This was great as I wanted
to create a piece that people of all different ages could watch and take
something from.
3. USE OF THE CAMERA
• Smooth panning; Camera was not shaky
• Great control of camera
• Good use of video speed
• Nice panning shot at the beginning
• Shots of the book were really effective- wanted more of them
• Shot quality was amazing
• Focus on handshake showed a strong meaning; adventure

• Detailing of costume was amazing
• Mise-en-scene was perfect
• Good attention to mise-en-scene elements

• Costume still looks like something a child would wear

• Make-up related to identity of characters
• Mise-en-scene reinforced characters (who they were exactly)
8. GENERAL COMMENTS ON WHAT THE
AUDIENCE LIKED
• Setting of orphanage was subtle; meant you could gain a good understanding of location
• Liked the concept of the story and the lip-syncing was good
• Lip-syncing really works and is in time
• Characterization is clear and child actors are cute
• Really like the link between lyrics and shots
• Obvious narrative
• Love how each character lip-syncs
• Don’t often see children starring in music videos so it it really lovely
• Coloring of shots was great
• Aesthetically pleasing
9. THINGS TO IMPROVE UPON
• Natural setting could have been selected better to exclude fences etc.
• Handshake shot was quite long
• Would have some more locations
• Font of the title is slightly difficult to read (color)
• Camera can at times be shaky
• Some shots could be more close up
• Pay more attention to background of shots
• Could have more camera angles
• Some shots could be shorter
• Some shots were wobbly, could be more controlled.
