1. Pitch for Media Film
The episode starts with the main character in a lab writing some notes and altering the settings on the
time travelling device. A man walks into the room and asks the protagonist if the device is finished. She
gives the device to the scientist and asks why they are going back in time, but she is not told. Both
characters walk to the end of the room preparing to go back when the protagonist spots another device
the scientist is holding. She asks what it is and we learn that it is a memory erasing device which is kept
‘just for emergencies’. Once they go back in time, the woman wakes up in a strange room decorated with
80s – 90s objects and realises her invention has worked. The scientist walks into the room and hands her
some clothes to change into, so they blend in more with the time they travelled back to. They leave the
house to go to the location with the file they needed to collect before it got stolen. When they arrive,
they go to pick it up, and out of curiosity, the woman opens it to reveal that they are trying to take back a
file about mind control. The scientist sees this and pulls out the memory erasing device as she now
knows too much, but the woman runs away before he can scan her. She runs into a lift and frantically
clicks the buttons, closing the doors before the scientist can reach her. When she’s safely in the lift, the
protagonist adjusts the settings on the time travelling device and travels to another location with the
folder and time travelling device.
