The court order allows three news organizations - Civil Beat, Hawaii Reporter, and Honolulu Star-Advertiser - to live blog the trial of United States v. Mordechai Orian. Only one journalist from each organization can bring a laptop into the courtroom to blog and transmit updates. Photographs and recordings are prohibited. Journalists must provide 24-hour advance notice of who will be blogging. Failure to comply with the order could result in contempt of court charges.
