This summary describes a networking event attended by the author at Sunderland College on October 10th, 2022. The event featured a talk with Craig and Victoria from Meash Media, a video production company based in Gateshead. Meash Media discussed their business and potential work experience opportunities. The author learned about how Meash Media started and the facilities available at the Pride Media Centre, but did not gain new skills from the talk.

The talk was with Craig and Victoria.
Meash media is a video production company based in Gateshead, they have a passion for video
production, photography, animation and editing. During this visit they spoke about potential work
experience placement in their company. They are currently based in Pelaw at Gateshead, at Pride
Media Centre
From this experience I learned about how they started their business but not much more about
the industry itself. This experience helped me think about what potential career that I want to go
down and how I can work my way up in the industry. By Meash media telling us about their
facilities it has allowed me to look further into the Pride Media Centre and what facilities that they
can offer and hire out. It allowed me to meet local proffesionals who have built up their company
and who have regular clients that they work with. This talk didn’t help it allowed me to see
facilities that are available to me, I also gained no new skills from this talk.
