Tarana Burke, a social activist and community organizer, began using the phrase "Me Too" in
2006, and the phrase was popularized by Alyssa Milano in 2017 when she encouraged women
to tweet about it and "give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem". The response on
Twitter included high-profile posts from several celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley
Judd, Jennifer Lawrence, and Uma Thurman.
Time's Up is a movement against sexual harassment and was founded on January 1, 2018, by
Hollywood celebrities in response to the Weinstein effect and #MeToo. As of February 2018, it
has raised $20 million for its legal defense fund, and gathered over 200 volunteer lawyers.

Rewind the time to spring 2017, I’m 7 months
pregnant, and knew I wanted to create a place where
women could champion each other, collaborate and

THE SILENCE BREAKER Tarana Burke, a social activist and community organizer, began using the phrase "Me Too" in 2006, and the phrase was popularized by Alyssa Milano in 2017 when she encouraged women to tweet about it and "give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem". The response on Twitter included high-profile posts from several celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Lawrence, and Uma Thurman.

In the work I do, I am an strategic advisor, writer and speaker.  I influence business's when it comes to their strategic work, process and leadership development.   Rewind the time to spring 2017, I’m 7 months pregnant, and knew I wanted to create a place where women could champion each other, collaborate and support. I wanted a place where I could go to find women to be in community with and support one another in our accomplishments.
