2015 Township Survey Proposal 1, from Cobalt Community ResearchJGNelson
Letters from Manager Fink, Planner Lewan, and Cobalt, the only company who bid on the proposed 2015 re-survey. Cobalt's cover letter clearly shows that they know precisely why and for whom the survey will be conducted. The 1200 homes on 460 Acres development proposal is specifically referenced. Still, if you watch the Township Planning Commission meetings, Planning Commissioners Ken Dignan, Mark Stanalajzo, and Sam Iaquinto continue to express surprise at the fantastic coincidence of a developer's interest in paving farmland and their interest in changing the Master Plan to accommodate paving farmland.

MDOT US-23 Plans Environmental Assessment Update, Appendices, January 2015JGNelson
This is the appendix to the document which fully describes MDOT's plans for improving US-23 between the M-14 interchange and Silver Lake Road. It contains an extensive list of stakeholders at all levels of government, letters therefrom, as well as plans for the Detours around the proposed construction projects.
These are the various legal agreements between Green Oak Township, Northfield Township, and Hamburg Township which prescribe the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Also included is documentation of the various local and regional lawsuits about wastewater treatment.
This is a set of TetraTech reports on Northfield Township's wastewater treatment system. Historical documents, plans, and reports from the 1970s and forward are included.
This is the 2003 Document creating the Whitmore Lake DDA Tax Increment Financing district. It includes maps of the district and some highly improbable financial projections showing that the DDA would eventually capture over $50 Million in tax revenues. The infamous Territorial Road Bridge project plan (5 Lanes Minimum!) is incorporated as an appendix. That would have put Northfield Township taxpayers on the hook for $28 Million.
This is the American Farmland Trust Cost of Services study showing that residential development costs 20% more than it raises in taxes. Open land and commercial development costs far less than it raises in taxes. Residential development is parasitic.

Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.
