- 2. MARINA BAY SANDS •Leadership is key- Government knew that to compete with other countries and to increase the economy, a casino have to be built. Hence, Marina Bay Sands was built to attract foreigners to invest in and to provide job opportunities for the people. • Anticipate change and stay relevant- Government knew that tourists would come to Singapore, therefore Marina Bay Sands was built to attract even more people.

- 4. CLIFFORD PIER • AStake for Everyone, Opportunities for All- By renovating the Clifford Pier, the Government provided jobs for the people. The newly renovated pier also serve as a attraction and provide more job opportunities for all. • Anticipate Change and Stay Relevant- Government knew that renovating the pier will be able to attract more people into Singapore, subsequently increasing investments and the economy.

- 6. A ‘GREEN’ SINGAPORE •The ‘eco-friendly’ structure uses solar energy to power itself. People standing underneath it will activate the giant fan and will be provided with a shade and a cool area to stand under in the hot weather of Singapore. • Anticipate Change and Stay Relevant- As Singapore have to rely on others for sources, the government have to save energy usage as much as possible. The giant solar fan is also used as an attraction.

MARINA BAY LINKMALL • Anticipate change and Stay Relevant- Government knew that Singapore, being a small country, faced land constraints and thus have to make use of the space underground. • A Stake for Everyone, Opportunities for All- By building the Marina Bay Link Mall, it provided job opportunities for the people and offer investments for foreigners.

MARINA CITY GALLERY • Anticipate Change and Stay Relevant- The gallery provides visitors with a understanding of the buildings around Marina Bay and provides information and explanation of the buildings of Marina Bay. It also shows if the building was already built, has only been planned to build or has already started building.
